Synopsis

If having a good marriage is challenging, then having a great marriage may seem elusive.

This need not be. You CAN have a great marriage!

This book is about building a Maximum Marriage. It isn’t easy, but it is very rewarding. A Maximum Marriage means many things, but at its root, it means that a husband and wife can be lovers for life. This means a life of love and blessings, not just for them, but for their children and grandchildren as well.

Too many people just hope things will improve on their own and often refuse to be proactive about their marriage. In realizing you have a marriage that is not optimum, you have taken a very important step towards making things better—hopefully much better!

This book will help you increase the level of intimacy, love, and trust in your marriage. We will present various tools to help you transform your marriage to reflect what God intended in His original plan: a beautiful partnership filled with love and joy and grace.

The word “lover” is currently most often defined as “a partner in a sexual or romantic relationship outside marriage.” Lovers in a romantic or sexual sense are typically associated with two people involved in an extra-marital affair. We need to wrestle back “love” to where it belongs, which is not in hotel rooms and clandestine meetings. The role of husband and wife should include being lovers for life. This is a key to building a Maximum Marriage. Yet, how do we get there? How do we develop these lover relationships that can withstand the pressures (and sometimes boredom) of everyday life without stifling the fire of passion and love that had brought two people together?

In this book we explore ways to keep that fire alive and not surrender to a world that demands instant gratification in the pursuit of me, my, and mine. Our desire is to offer you and your spouse insight and practical help to build a Maximum Marriage, one that will be full of blessings for you and your entire family.
